“I bathe to reset my mood and energy - to centre myself. Depending on the time of day, I can bathe to awaken or to relax, but it’s always a ritual to aid in returning to self.”
- Elora Joshi
"I often bathe to mark when the day has shifted from productivity towards leisure. I like to use a bath to be with my thoughts and a playlist allows me to do that. While I do love reading, the act of reading when I bathe feels more active than meditative for me."
"I prefer the ocean over a lake for it's vastness. There’s something about an entire ecosystem in a confined space such as a lake that I don’t like. I have a bit of a phobia of lakes because of it, actually. Maybe this says something about my need for space, in my own life."
"When I need to reset mentally, I run a bath and put on 'home clothes'. I instantly feel calmer when I feel warm from a hot bath or shower and I’m out of my 'outside clothes'."
"I feel most renewed in the morning. I feel awake and ready for the day. It’s when I have the most energy, both physically and mentally."
